The King’s School gets a new website.
King’s has educated boys since 1831, and has become renowned internationally for its approach to educating young men with character and pursuit of academic excellence.
To help reaffirm the School’s expertise and offer, we were asked to completely rethink how to present its extensive range of learning, teaching and wider activities on offer, and provide an immersive experience across all digital devices.
While the brief initially required something along the lines of ‘build a new website’, it was quickly determined that to truly, accurately present the School, with its amazing grounds, numerous teaching and learning spaces, professional staff and respected academic programs, the content would need to be completely overhauled.
Our scope therefore covered the complete range of requirements, from research, planning and concepting, to design, copywriting, photography, build, content population and launch. We undertook a complete rewrite of content across the site — developing a defined voice and tone guide in the process — and planned and executed new photography and videography to provide suitable visual relief and a more immersive experience.
