Ascham advertising Art Direction

We’ve been working with Ascham School since 2011, following our initial response to a website re-design brief. Our review and ‘deconstruction’ of brand assets identified that the school needed a more holistic approach to improving its communication, particularly in photography to be used for marketing and promotional activities.

Working with the Registrar, Comms team and Head of School, we identified a range of specific requirements that in themselves would have meant a very large shoot across many locations and with large numbers of people. Thinking laterally, we were able to group requirements more simply and could then plan for developing a photographic scope whereby one image could be used in multiple contexts.

We planned, concepted and art directed this full day shoot on the school grounds, capturing the spirit of the school and its students in a range of images that have subsequently been used to great effect in multiple ways.
