In summary

Creating a celebratory video series that captures the people, culture and two-decade evolution of the Valmont brand.

As Valmont approached its 20th anniversary, the team wanted to commemorate the milestone by capturing authentic reflections from the people who helped shape the business — from founding leadership through to long-serving team members.

Rather than a formal corporate piece, we proposed a series of warm, conversational videos designed to express the personality, culture and evolution of Valmont. The result is a lively and human collection of stories that celebrates the business’s growth, values and people, and can be shared across the website, social media and internal channels.

Process

  • Concept development: Designed a structure centred on natural conversation — short, expressive interviews supported by b-roll footage and celebratory graphic overlays.
  • Planning and preparation: Created the full production plan, including the asset suite, video formats, narrative flow, interview structure and intended promotional use.
  • Graphic direction: Developed a 20th anniversary visual device and a supporting animated timeline, both aligned with the wider Valmont brand and existing digital elements such as the anniversary email signature.
  • Interview design and scripting: Crafted a master script and open-ended question set to capture meaningful reflections on career journeys, culture, learning, growth and the evolution of Valmont over two decades.
  • Onsite videography: Completed a one-day shoot at Valmont, capturing interviews and supporting footage under the direction of our Art Director.
  • Editing and production: Produced a master 1–2 minute anniversary video alongside multiple short-form soundbites optimised for website placement and social channel use.
  • Post-production refinement: Included grading, animation, music selection, captioning and multiple edit cycles to ensure polish and consistency across all assets.
