In summary
Redesigning MultiLit’s annual product catalogue into a clear and engaging showcase of its evidence-based literacy programs and resources.
MultiLit is a leader in evidence-based literacy instruction, offering a wide range of programs and resources used by schools across Australasia.
Their annual product catalogue is a key tool for educators, yet previous versions lacked structure, clarity and visual appeal. MultiLit asked us to rethink the catalogue from the ground up, reshaping content, design and navigation to better reflect the quality of their programs and support easier purchasing decisions for schools and educators.
Process
- Understanding audience needs: Reviewed how teachers, principals and support staff use the catalogue, identifying gaps in clarity, organisation and user flow.
- Content restructuring: Reorganised product information to align with teaching sequences, program families and educator decision-making.
- Designing a clearer system: Created a modern, brand-aligned layout that improves hierarchy, navigation and readability across more than 40 pages.
- Elevating brand expression: Applied MultiLit’s visual identity with greater consistency, introducing a refined typographic system, clearer product markers and supporting graphic elements.
- End-to-end production: Managed the full process from planning workshops to design rollout, artwork preparation and print recommendations — including guidance on stock selection for quality and durability.
Outcome
- A 40+ page catalogue that is easier to navigate, more visually engaging and far more helpful for busy educators.
- Stronger brand alignment that reinforces MultiLit’s position as a trusted leader in evidence-based literacy instruction.
- Improved clarity of product ranges, enabling schools to understand program differences, components and pathways at a glance.
- A publication that supports both sales and professional development, helping educators make confident, informed decisions.
- A polished, professional tool that better represents the quality, depth and scientific credibility of MultiLit’s programs.
