Producing an expressive video suite that captures the spirit, opportunities and everyday rhythm of life at St Catherine’s School.
As part of St Catherine’s broader push to elevate its digital presence, we were engaged to produce a suite of videos that would authentically portray the School’s warmth, culture and wide-ranging learning experiences.
The goal was to create rich, story-led content that resonated with prospective families and strengthened the School’s online narrative. Over three days we immersed ourselves across campus — in classrooms, creative spaces, sporting environments and community moments — to capture a vibrant, natural portrait of life at St Catherine’s.
Process
- Integrated planning with website goals: Worked closely with the School’s leadership and marketing teams to define the narrative role of the videos within the new website and identify key messages and themes to highlight.
- Structured narrative and pre-production: Developed detailed shot lists, thematic outlines and visual references to ensure alignment with the updated brand expression and website design.
- Four-day whole-of-school shoot: Filmed widely across classrooms, creative spaces, sports facilities and community environments, capturing the true rhythm of daily life at St Catherine’s.
- Natural, student-led direction: Prioritised authentic interactions and unscripted moments, ensuring the content felt sincere, relatable and representative of real school life.
- Post-production and refinement: Crafted a suite of polished videos — including whole-school overviews and focused program stories — formatted for the website, events, campaigns and social channels.
