Transforming the Joeys website into a modern, story-driven digital experience that reflects the College’s identity and inspires deeper engagement.

St Joseph’s College set out to completely refresh its website to better express its story, showcase its distinctive approach and provide an intuitive, emotionally engaging experience for families. The previous site no longer supported the College’s communication goals nor reflected the depth of the Joeys experience.

We were engaged to reimagine the entire platform, uniting structure, content, storytelling, design and functionality into a cohesive, contemporary and compelling digital environment.

Process

  • Immersion and discovery: Facilitated onsite workshops to clarify goals, audience needs, brand positioning and the role of the website within the broader Joeys communication ecosystem.
  • Content and structure planning: Reviewed existing material and Joeys Jottings, then re-engineered the information architecture to support intuitive navigation and a unified brand experience.
  • Wireframing and prototyping: Created high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to validate structure, hierarchy and user journeys before visual design commenced.
  • Experience-led design: Developed a contemporary, mobile-first design system that elevates storytelling, photography, videography and calls to action while remaining authentic to the Joeys brand.
  • Design rollout: Produced a complete suite of digital components, iconography, layouts and templates to ensure consistency and long-term scalability.
  • Custom build: Designed and developed a fully tailored WordPress site with a context-based approach (not a one-size-fits-all) for video, galleries, interactive modules and dynamic storytelling.
  • Copywriting refinement: Shaped, edited and refined provided content to create a coherent, engaging narrative aligned to the new design and structure.
  • Full delivery: Managed all phases: planning, design, build, content load, QA, testing, launch and ongoing support.
